• Iranian short film to vie at Patras film festival in Greece

Iranian filmmaker Kazem Mollaie’s short film Delete is programmed to compete at the 14th edition of Patras International Film Festival in Greece.

Mollaie’s short production is slated to be screened at the Panorama section of the festival that will be held in the Greek city of Patras.

The film that enjoys an abstract and fantasy issue narrates the story of a young man who experiences the deletion of his life.

Delete has been screened at numerous international festivals so far and has been honored in several of them.

The film was presented at the 2nd Corinthian-Peloponnesian International Film Festival in Greece, Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival in India, Cusco International Short Film Festival in Peru and Third Eye Asian Film Festival in Mumbai, India.

The 11-minute film has won the Audience Award at the 28th Tehran International Short Film festival and has been awarded as the event's best experimental film.

The movie also received an Honorary Diploma at the 2012 Festival of Nations held in the Austrian market town, Ebensee in June.

The 14th International Panorama of Independent Film and Video Makers festival is scheduled to be held in Patras city of Greece from September 29 to October 6, 2012.
